The Life of VERNE M DENNY
Services for a former Des Moines resident, Mrs. Thomas (Verne) Denny, 82, of Santa Clara, CA, will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Dunn''s Funeral Home on Grand Avenue with burial at Highland Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Denny, who lived in Des Moines 26 years, died Friday in California after suffering a heart attack.
Survivors include a son, Robert of Santa Clara, CA; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Wegener of Los Alamitos, CA, and Mrs. Frances McCord of Alden; two sisters, Mrs. Rolfe Frye of Lenexa, KS, and Mrs. Claude Carpenter of Rothville, MO; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchldren.
