The Life of ORA LEWIS HILDRETH
Ora "Orie" Lewis Hildreth, 91, of Mill-Pond Retirement Community, 1201 SE Millpond Court, Ankeny, died of complications of a stroke there Thursday. Services will be at 2 pm Monday at Ankeny Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Hildreth was born in Ankney and lived in the area all his life. He was a retired farmer and a member of United Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Violet of Indianola; two sons, Raymond of Alleman and Richard of Lancaster, CA; a daughter, Marilyn Finch Gustafson of Ortonville, MN; two stepdaughters, Jenny Septer and Betty Richardson, both of Indianola; a sister, June Foster of Elkhorn, NE; nine grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildre; 12 great-grandchildren; 29 step-great-grandchildren; and a step-great-great-grandchild.
Arrangements are being handled by Ankeny Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
