The Life of TERRY D VAN GUNDY
Terry D. "Papa" Van Gundy, 53, of the 3500 block of Dubuque Ave. died of a respiratory ailment Wednesday at home. The body was cremated, and memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial services will be April 22, 2003 at 2:30 p.m. at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Van Gundy had lived in Des Moines all his lfie. He was a finish carpenter and an Army veteran. He enjoyed home remodeling, camping and attending the Iowa State Fair.
He is survived by his wife, Laura; two daughters, Terri Van Gundy and Anne Williams, and four brothers, Richard, Robert, Michael and Clarence; and two sisters, Alice Weber and Madeline Austin, all of Des Moines, and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to the time of memorial services Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.>>
