The Life of RONALD D LONG

Ronald D. Long, 56, of 445 NW 65th Lane died of cancer Sunday at Hospice Kavanagh House on 56th Street.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home.  Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Born in Davenport, Mr. Long came to Des Moines in 1945, and has worked for Fiserv as a client service representative.  He had previously been employed by Brenton Bank as a business analyst for 20 years.  He was a veteran of the Marines and a member of Good Guys Street Rod Association.

He is survived by his wife, Kaye; two sons, Frank of Des Moines and Curt of Ankeny; a sister, Carole Bauer, and a brother Roger, both of Des Moines.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Kavanagh House at 900 56th St.
