The Life of GRACE NOLAND
Grace Noland, 94, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, July 26, 2006 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2006 at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St., with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Grace was born September 3, 1911 to Simon and Della Howe in Spickard, MO. She worked at Armstrong Tire in production and was a member of the Steelworker''s Union, Local #164.
Grace is survived by her son, Harold Noland of Des Moines; daughters, Norma (Bob) Pink of Boone; Joann (Bob) Kaufman of Stickney, IL; twelve grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Lionel (Betty) Noland; and companion, George Miseta and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; son, John Ray; and great-grandson, John and four sisters and two brothers.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer''s Association.
