The Life of CHARLES FRANKLIN NOLAND

Charles Franklin Noland, 68, of 2613 E. Elm St. died of leukemia and a heart ailment Thursday at Mercy Hospital after an illness of several years.

Services will be at noon Saturday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Born at Woodward, Mr. Noland lived in Des Moines most of his life and was a retired truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, Grace; two sons, John Noland and Harold Noland, both of Des Moines; two daughters, Mrs. Norma Pink of Boone and Mrs. Joanne Kaufman of Chicago, IL; three brothers, Ray Noland and Lionel Noland, both of Des Moines and Clarence Noland of Rolla, MO; a sister, Mrs. Mary Lincoln of Granger, and 12 grandchildren.
