The Life of MARY JO LIGHT
Mary Jo Light, 63, of the 2500 block of 51st Street died of complications of a stroke Saturday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Dunn''s Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Light was a lifelong Des Moines resident and a retired customer service representative for Mid-American Energy.
Survivors include two sons, Jeff of Colfax and Marvin of Farmington, Ark.; a daughter, Lesley Mienke of Des Moines; a sister, Judi Riley of Aurora, Ill.; a brother, Kramer Robertson of Lake Worth, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
