The Life of EVA B MERRITT
Services for Mrs. Logan Merritt, 75, of 1609 Seventh St., who died Saturday at Iowa Methodist Hospital of complications following surgery, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial wil be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetary.
Mrs. Merritt, who had been ill several months, was born in West Plains, Mo. She came here 56 years ago from West Plains.
She was a member of the Sons of Veterans Auxiliary and Ladies of the Moose.
Surviving are her husband; a stepson, Charles Goering of Des Moines; two foster daughters, Mrs. Eva Light of Des Moines and Mrs. Hazel Leslie of San Diego; and six grandchildren.
