The Life of THOMAS L MCBEE
Services for Thomas L McBee, 62, of 640 NE Fifty-fourth AVe. will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. McBee was dead of an apparent heart attack on arrival at Veterans Hospital Saturday.
A self-employed carpenter, he was born in Richmond, KS and came to Des moines from Davenport in 1940. He was a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Margle; a daughter, Ronna McBee, at home; five sons, Jerold, at home, Steve of Ankeny, Jimmy R of Austell, GA, and Mervin and Loy, both of Des Moines; three brothers, Scott of Renton, WA, George of Woodinville, WA, and Eli of Tacoma, WA; a sister, Mrs. Lulu Gillham of Kincaid, KS, and three grandchildren.
