The Life of MAE EDITH SHORT
Graveside services for Mae E. Short, 83, of 6901 SE Fourteenth St. who died of a heart attack Sunday at home, will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Short was born in Davis City and had lived in Des Moines for 80 years. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include three daughters, Doris Silny, Edith Allender and Nancy Ann Short, all of Des Moines; a sister, Emma Taylor of Palm Springs, CA; four brothers, Ray, Grover, Leland and Harold Dingman, all of Des Moines; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Southtown Funeral Home is handling the arrangments.
