The Life of JAMES M LATTIMER

James M. Lattimer, 40, of 3101 Cornell St. died of a heart attack Monday at his home.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Lattimer, a lifelong resident of Des Moines, was a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service and a member of the Highland Park American Legion Post, Hawkeye Chapter of Order of Eastern Star, Eastgate Masonic Lodge and Epworth United Methodist Church.  He was a veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his widow, Lois; a son, James M. II, and two daughters, Judy and Kathy, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Pauline Young of Des Moines; a brother, Gerald of Des Moins, and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Gibb of Des Moines and Mrs. Betty Shoop of Carlisle.
