The Life of REID L SHULTZ
Services for Reid L. Shultz, 70, of 1338 Fifty-sixth St., will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Westover Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Shultz died of a heart condition Wednesday at Iowa Methodist Hospital after an eight-week illness.
Born in St. Louise, MO, Mr. Shultz had lived in Des Moines 48 years. He was a service man for Iowa Power and Light Co., retiring in 1963.
Mr. Shultz was a charter member of Windsor Methodist Church. He was well known as a collector of old phonographs.
Surviving are his wife, Vida; a son, Richard L. of Ankeny; a sister, Mrs. Warren M. Reith of San Diego, CA and two grandsons.
The family suggests memorials to Windsor Methodist Church.
