The Life of ALFRED DEE TILLIER

Services for Alfred D. Tillier, 71, of 2434 Elizabeth St., who died of a stroke Wednesday at Mercy Hospital, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Tillier, a retired implement company shop foreman, was born in Jefferson and had been a Des Moines resident 40 years.  He was a member of International Association of Machinists Local 254 and Grandview Park Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Roxanna; a daughter, Mrs. Ardis Grove of Rockford, IL; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Lloyd Wampler of Scranton and Mrs. E.T. Christensen of Harlan; two sisters, Mrs. Elda Brafford of Des Moines and Mrs. Pauline Hake of Renton, WA; three brothers, Oscar Dickey of Anselmo, NE and Albert Dickey and Roy Dickey, both of Hemingford, NE; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
