The Life of MAYME A BURNS
Mrs. Mayme A. Burns, 77, of 434 SE Philips St., died of cancer Thursday at the Westview Care Center in Indianola.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Burns was born in Prole and lived in Des Moines 70 years. She was a member of the Episcopal Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathern Curran of Des Moines; two sons, Donald of Indianola and Thomas of Seattle, WA; a sister, Ethel McBride of Ames; two brothers, Howard Gordon of Des Moines and Elra Gordon of Port Charlotte, FL; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
