The Life of SUZI NEWTON CROSS
Services for Mrs. Suzi Cross, 18, of Oceanside, CA, former Des Moines resident who died Sunday of complications following surgery at US Naval Hospital, Camp Pendleton, CA, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Cross was born in Des Moines and had lived here until moving to Oceanside in 1967. She was a 1967 graduate of Ankeny High School and was a member of the North Acres Chapel. She was employed as a clerk at a jewelry store in Oceanside.
Surviving are her husband, Steven W; her parents, Mrs. & Mrs. Billie Gene Newton of Des Moines; a sister, Mrs. Terry Jo Cross of Des Moines; a brother, Billie Gene, Jr. at home; her maternal grandparents, Mrs. & Mrs. Charles Dewey of Iowa City, and her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Parl Newton of Des Moines.
