The Life of ARVEL CLEMENS
Arvel Clemens, 85, died March 17, 2005 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 21 at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to services.
Arvel was born January 17, 1920 in Centerville, IA. He was a yard foreman for Iowa Concrete Block Company, retiring in 1985. Arvel is survived by his wife, Lois; daughters, Mary Clemens, Cheryl Allen and Christine Hull, all of Des Moines; brother, Charles Clemens of Ankeny; sisters, Hattie Jones of Centerville and Virginia Clark of Mystic; three grandchildren; seen great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
