The Life of WAYNE WESLEY WILSON
Wayne Wesley Wilson, 65, of 9215 NE 27th Ave., Altoona, died of cancer Wednesday at his home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Fuernal Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Wilson, a lifelong resident of Des Moines, was the owner and operator of Wilson Sign Company before retiring in 1996. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving him are his wife, Bonnie; three daughters, Terry Boggs of Altoona, Deborah Gunn of Mitchellville and Kim Wilson of Ankeny; two brothers, Leston of Panora and Darrell Davis of Ankeny; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to Mercy Home Health Services.
