The Life of ARCHIE VERNICE COX

Services for Archie V. Cox, 86, of 4625 N.E. Twenty-ninth St., who died of a heart attack Thursday at Des Moines General Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hamilton''''s Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

A native of Ottumwa, Mr. Cox lived in Des Moines most of his life. A retired foreman for New Monarch Stamping Co., he owned and operated Cox''s Dairy Sweet. He was a member of Highland Park Open Bible Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Ettamay Cox of Des Moines; 11 sons: Earnest, Arthur, Donald, Norman, Frank, Richard, Eugene and Archie L., all of Des Moines, Vernice of Winterset, Robert of Sioux City and Mervin of Broomfield, Colo.; a sister, Hazel Andrews of Van Nuys, Calif.; 38 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to Highand Park Open Bible Church. Friends may call until service time at the funeral home.
