The Life of ASTRID E KYAR
Services for Astrid E. Kyar, 78, of Norwalk, who died of a stroke Monday at home, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Born in Audubon, Mrs. Kyar lived in Des Moines for 60 years and the past year in Norwalk. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John''s Lutheran Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Vera Wilson of Norwalk, and Doris M. Pasco and Roberta Kyar, both of Des Moines; a son, Robert of Des Moines; two sisters, Anna Petersen and Florence Dickey, both of Des Moines; a brother, Edward Jorgensen of Atlantic, 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
Friends may call from 3:30 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
