The Life of JACK R DAVIS
Jack R. Davis of Florence, died January 11, 2001, at age 80 of a long-time health problem. He was born April 29, 1921, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Roy and Margaret Davis, the youngest son of 11 siblings. On June 22, 1956, he married Bette Rae Ritter, who preceded him in death on December 19, 2000.
He was a machinist by trade and was employed at Kaiser Aircraft and Electronics in San Leandro, CA, before being employed at Lockheed Aircraft in California. Upon retirement, he moved to Rough and Ready, CA, before moving to Florence in 1992.
He is survived by his brother, Roy Davis of Des Moines, Iowa; a sister, Marion Teater of Johnston, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.
