The Life of JACK ANDREW CLAYTON
Jack Andrew Clayton, 58, of St. Joseph, Mo., died Tuesday at St. Joseph Health Care Center. The cause of death is unknown, pending results of a medical examiner''s report. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Highland Park Funeral Home in Des Moines, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Clayton was born in Creston and lived in Des Moines most of his life until moving to Missouri 17 years ago. He was a driver manager for Swift Transportation.
Surviving are his wife, Dena; three daughters, Marlene Griffin of Urbandale, Leslie Cannon of Indianola and Karen Ripley of Cleveland; his mother, Vida Clayton of St. Joseph; a brother, Charles of Anaheim, Calif.; a sister, Elizabeth Anne Thompson of Strasburg, Colo.; and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church in Des Moines.
