The Life of EUGENE A SCOTT
Eugene A. Scott, 63, of Hot Springs, AK, died of complications of leukemia there Thursday. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Paul''s Lutheran Church in Des Moines, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Scott was born in St. Edwards, NB, and lived in Ames before moving to Hot Springs two years ago. Before his retirement, he was self-employed as a dealer in antique toys.
Survivors include his wife, Joan; two sons, Harold of Omaha and Danny of Austin, TX; three daughters, Carol Scott of Boone, Kathy Mason of Des Moines, and Jeanette Scott of Salt Lake City, UT; his mother, Alma Scott of Des Moines; two brothers, Kenneth and Victor, both of Des Moines; and eight grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Dunn''s Funeral Home in Des Moines.
