The Life of CAROL VELMA CAVE
Carol V. Cave, 76, of the 3900 block of Amherst Street died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Hospice Kavanagh House on 56th St. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Cave was born in Popejoy and had lived in Des Moines most of her life. She retired in 1988 as an account clerk for Hawkeye Security Insurance Co. and was an avid Chicago Bulls fan and enjoyed watching Tiger Woods play golf.
She is survived by two daughters, Susan Cox of Bondurant and Diana Valadez of Des Moines; a son, James of Des Moines; a sister, Ruby Anderson of Dows; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Kavanagh House on 56th St.
