The Life of EDYTHE MARIE HARTUNG
Edythe M. Hartung, 93, of Heather Manor, 600 E. Fifth St., died of a heart ailment there Wednesday. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Hartung was born in Hardy and lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Union Park United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Jack and Roger, both of Des Moines; a brother, W.S. Nervig of Clarion; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to her church, Heather Manor or Ray Pugh Endowment for the Des Moines YMCA Camp.
