The Life of CLIFFORD PERRY GRUVER
Services for the Rev. Clifford P. Gruver, 62, of 4025 Third St., who died of a stroke at Iowa Lutheran Hospital Friday, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at East Side Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
The Rev. Mr. Gruver, who was born in Presho, SD, lived in Des Moines most of his life. He had been an evangelist at the Church of God Holiness in Overland, KS.
Surviving are his wife, Alice; two sons, Maynard and Paul; three daughters, Mrs. Miriam Baker, Mrs. Hazel Grylls and Mrs. Sharon Fuller, all of Des Moines; two brothers, Roy of Carlisle and Ralph of Des Moines; a sister, Mrs. May Hill of Des Moines; and 17 grandchildren.
