The Life of WILLIAM PRESTON NEWLIN
Services for William P. Newlin, 85, of 4225 Village Lane in West Des Moines, who died of a heart ailment Friday at Charter Community Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Westover Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens.
Mr. Newlin was born in Woodland and lived in Leon for 32 years before moving to the Des Moines area. He was a retired real estate broker and a member of the West Madison Church of Christ in Des Moines.
Survivors include his wife, Jennie; a son, Richard C., of Des Moines; a sister, Myrtle Standefer of Washington State; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
