The Life of LEOTA F THACKER
Services for Leota F. Thacker, 84, of 715 Dunham Ave., who died of a heart ailment Wednesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Thacker was born in Odebolt and lived in Des Moines nearly 70 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Jordan United Methodis Church.
Surviving are six daughters, Barbara Bruntmyer, Elaine Delmege and Carol Holt, all of Minneapolis, JoAnne Thacker and Sharon Shoemaker of Des Moines, and Phyllis Shearer of San Antonio, TX; three sons, Harry of Goose Creek, SC, and Alfred and Phillip, both of Des Moines; 24 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
