The Life of MAYME C HEMMINGS
Services for Mrs. Mayme C. Hemmings, 74, of 3015 Forty-eighth St., who died of cancer Thursday at Mercy Hospital, will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Westover Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Hemmings, who was born in Beatrice, Neb., had lived in Des Moines 40 years. She was a school teacher here for 10 years, and had attended the Colorado State Teachers College at Greeley.
She was a member of the auxiliary of the United Commercial Travelers and the First Federated Church.
Surviving are two sons, Clifford, Jr., of Des Moines and Bruce of Woodland Hills, Calif.; a sister, Martha Brown of Wilton Junction; a brother Ernest Claussen of Denver, Colo., and two grandsons.
