The Life of ELNER C HUNZIKER

Services for Elner Clarence Hunziker, 76, of 3330 E. Twenty-fifth St. who died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at East Side Church of the Nazarene.  Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Hunziker was born in Minnesota and was a Des Moines resident for six years.  He formerly lived in Sioux City and was a retired farmer.  He was a member of East Side Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include his wife, Bessie; three daughters, Darlene A. Haberkorn of Ankeny, Donna F. Harvey of Adel, and Dixie D. Glanville of Des Moines; three stepdaughters, Virginia M. Goin and Margorie A. Vernon, both of Altoona, and Kathleen J. Kern of Des Moines; three sons, Duane E. of Altoona, Donald R. of Davenport and Daryl D. of Tacoma, WA; a stepson, Ronald B. Peterson of Minnesota; two sisters, Gladys Peeper of Oelwein, and Phylis Lambert of Evansdale; two brothers, Leon Bennett and Lloyd Bennett, both of Arkansas; 28 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
