The Life of CLARENCE B MCCLOUD
Clarence B. "Mac" McCloud, 84, passed from this earth on September 15, 2004 of cancer at Sun Health Hospice in Sun City, AZ.
Mac was born April 8, 1920, the son of Grace and Clarence McCloud in Des Moines, Iowa. He was graduated from East High School. Mac and May Alice Steen were married on March 11, 1939. They shared a wonderful life together until her passing in 2001.
He joined the Bankers Trust Company in 1939, where he remained until 1967, leaving Des Moines to become Executive Vice President of the Burlington Bank and Trust Company in Burlington, IA. Mac and Mary retired to Sun City, AZ, in 1982.
Mac is survived by his two sons, Michael of Johnston, IA, and Craig of St. Paul, MN; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Mac had a liflong passion for golf. He was very proud of achieving seven holes-in-one. He was a member of the Hyperion Golf and Country Club for many years in Des Moines and the Burlington Golf and Country Club.
