The Life of LOUIS MCCREARY
Services for Louis McCreary, 68, of 5726 Clark Blvd. will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Westover Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Authorities said Mr. McCreary died about 7 a.m. Monday of natural causses. His body was found in his parked truck on the west side of Sec Taylor Stadium.
Mr. McCreary, a truck driver for Travis Transport Corp, was born in Audubon and lived in Des Moines since 1942. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and Teamsters Union Local 90.
He is survived by his wife, Lola E.; a son, Norman E. of Des Moines; a daughter, Mrs. Judith A. West of Des Moines; a stepson, Ronald Zeisness of Mount Pulaski, IL; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Immel of Sycamore, IL and Mrs. Arlene Krupp of Melbourne; two brothers, LeRoy of Vancouver, WA, and Leo of Des Moines, eight grandchildren and agreat-grandson.
