The Life of ZETA KAY ALEXANDER

Kay Alexander, 50, of 5901 NW 54th Ct., Johnston, died of cancer Wednesday at University Hospital in Omaha.  Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Westover Funeral Home, and burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Alexander was born in Casey and lived in Des Moines more than 30 years, coming from the Stuart area.  She was a registered nurse and a member of the American Nurses Association.

Survivors include her husband, Bob; two daughters, Robin Wisgerhof of Grimes and Ryann Alexander of Johnston; a son, Kent of Johnston; her mother, Opal McDowell, and her father, Keith McDowell, both of Stuart; a brother, Kit McDowell of Altoona; two sisters, Rita Faust of Stuart and Sue Ford of Thousand Oaks, CA; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the building fund at New Hope United Methodist Church.
