The Life of DOROTHY EVELYN HOUSMAN
Dorothy Evelyn Housman, 81, of the 2000 block of Lay Street died of a kidney ailment Friday at home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Highland Park Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Housman had lived in Des Moines all her life. She was a retired postal clerk and a member of Grandview Park Congregation of Jehovah''s Witnesses.
Survivers are a daughter, Marsha Housman Stoker of Des Moines; a son, Allen Housman of Ankeny; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa.
