The Life of ERNEST F LEWELLIN
Services for Ernest F. Lewellin, 64, of 1337 Washington Ave., who died of a heart attack Friday at Veterans Administration Medical Center, will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Westover Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Lewellin lived in Des Moines all his life. He was a tractor operator at Veterans Administration Medical Center, a World War II Army veteran and a member of Disabled American Veterans and the Salvation Army Citadel Coprs.
Survivors include his wife, Helen L.; a daughter, Janet Catlett of Des Moines; his mother, Goldie Lewellin of Reno, NV; four brothers, Jack and Richard, both of Des Moines, Larry of Reno and William of Brinnon, WA; three sisters, Virginia Foshe of Johnston; Wilma Johnson of Vista, CA; and Mary Jo Morales of San Antonio, TX; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today until service time Monday at the funeral home.
