The Life of BEVERLY KARLENE WILCOX

Beverly K. Wilcox, 60 of the 4000 block of Fifth Avenue died of complication of diabetes Thursday at Mercy Medical Center.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Dahlstrom Family Funeral Care, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Wilcox had lived in Des Moines all her life.  She was a retired decontamination technician with Mercy Medical Center and a member of Remarriage in Des Moines.  She loved dogs and enjoyed painting, ceramics and crocheting.

Surviving are her husband, Donald; two daughters, Karla Kellis and Connie Malone, and two stepsons, Rick Wilcox and Steve Wilcox, all of Des Moines; three sisters, Doris Clark of Des Moines, Shirley DesPlanques of Johnston and Jennie Breen of Runnells; two brothers, Philip Fahlk of Raymore, MO, and Richard Fahlk of Long Beach, CA; five grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to All Pets Animal Clinic.
