The Life of ENA DORIS WARD
Ena Doris Ward, 92, of 5815 Winwood Drive, Johnston, died of a heart ailment Thursday at Hospice Kavanagh House. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at All Saints Parish Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
A native of Durham County, England, Mrs. Ward had lived in the Des Moines area most of her life and was a retired secretary to the superintendent at Saydel Schools.
She is survived by two sons, John of Des Moines and David of Clive; 14 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. and where a vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to her church or Hospice Kavanagh House.
