The Life of WILLARD A MILLER

Willard A. Miller, 85, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, October 9, 2005, at Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House.  Funeral services will be noon Wednesday at Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Willard retired from Des Moines Transfer and Storage Company after 27 years of service.  He was an Army veteran of WWII.  Willard attended Grandview Park Baptist Church for many years.  He enjoyed volunteering and going to auctions.  He loved spending time with his family and traveling with his wife.

Willard is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Virginia (Fern) Miller; son, Roger (Sandy) Miller; three grandsons, Todd, Troy (Chris) and Tim (Marcy) Miller; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Vivian Hern.
