The Life of WALTER HERMAN OLTROGGE
Walter Herman Oltrogge, 95, of the 3900 block of Cornell Street died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at noon Friday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Oltrogge was born in Waverly and had lived in Waterloo before moving to Des Moines, in 1942. He was a retired machinist with Little Giant Crane and Shoven, a World War II Army veteran and a member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Anne; two daughters, Sharon Born of West Des Moines and Sue Grimm of Arlington Heights, IL; a brother, Herbert of Long Beach, CA; seven granchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will greet friends from 11 a.m. to noon Friday at the funeral home.
