The Life of FRED WILLIAM BROWN

Services for Fred W Brown, 69, of 710 SE Park Ave, who died of cancer Saturday in Dallas, Texas, will be at 11 am Friday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Brown was a lifelong resident of Des Moines. He was a retired locomotive engineer for Rock Island Lines. He was a member of Indianola Heights Evangelical Free Church, Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers 713 Railroad Battalion, was past board member of the Shepherd Center and was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Roberta; a daughter, Donna Resch of Des Moines; a son, Kent of Dallas, Texas; four brothes, Robert, Donald and Jerry, all of Des Moines, and Larry of Holt, Mich.; and two grandchildren. Friends may call after 4 pm today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to his church or Shepherd Center.
