The Life of FRANCES ZONA FORD
Frances Zona Ford, 79, of 3010 State St. died of cancer Monday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Ford was born in Plano and had lived in Des Moines most of her life. She had been a homemaker and was a member of Capitol Hill Christian Church, Rebekah Mercy Lodge No. 215, Golden Agers and Christian Women''s Fellowship at Capitol Hill Christian Church.
Survivors include a son, Richard of Des Moines; two daughters, Marilyn Palmer and Janne McGough, both of Des Moines; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Capitol Hill Christian Church, Amanda the Panda or Mercy Hospice.
