The Life of LILLIAN B SAMUELS
Lillian B. Samuels, 96, of 910 Douglas Ave. died of a heart ailment Monday at Pleasant Care Living Center in Pleasantville. Services will be graveside at 10 a.m. Thursday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.
Mrs. Samuels lived in Des Moines all her life until moving to the care center two years ago. She retired from sales with Norman Casady and was a member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church and Order of the Eastern Star.
Among survivors are a son, Clifford, Jr. of Des Moines; a daughter, Evelyn Kieler of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Highland Park Funeral Home, where the family will meet friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
