Mrs. Frances E. Ruths, 100, died Saturday, August 7, 2004 at Valley View Village.  Services will be at Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens Wednesday, August 11, at 12 p.m.  Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Frances was born December 25, 1903 in Marion, KS.  She was a homemaker and also worked at Younkers.  Frances was a member of Easton Place United Methodist Church and Esther Circle.

Frances is survived by her son, Bob and his wife, Connie Ruths of Ankeny; daughter in law, Sara Ruths of Des Moines; four grandchildren, Gary Ruths of Boise, ID; Mark Ruths of Prior Lake, MN; Todd Ruths of Altoona; and Pam Newberry of Williamsburg; and ten great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, George Ruths; and her son, Dick Ruths.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Memorials may be made to Easton Place United Methodist Church or Mercy Hospice.
