The Life of RAY GRANGER LUCAS

Services for Ray G. Lucas, 82, of 415 Virginia Ave. who died of complications of a stroke Wednesday at Calvin Manor Care Center, will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Hamilton's Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Lucas had lived in Des Moines all his life.  He retired in 1967 as a route salesman for Cascade Laundry.  He had been a member of Park Avenue Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge and Des Moines Consistory and was a past member of the Teamsters Union.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Lennon of Sioux City; two sons, Robert of Edina, MN and Richard of Phoenix, AZ; a stepdaughter, Donna Gordon of Golden, MO; a stepson, Richard Hammond of Des Moines; a brother, Earl of Mason City; 18 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after noon Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to his church or to Calvin Manor.
