The Life of EARL LANDON WHITE

Earl L. White, 77, of 1444 Hull Ave., died of heart and respiratory ailments Friday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.  Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. White was born in Polk City and lived in Des Moines most of his life.  He was a retired superintendent for Armstrong Tire and Rubber Co.  He was a member of Grant Park Christian Chruch, Armstrong Retirees Club, East Gate Masonic Lodge, Order of Amarant, and past worthy patron of East Gate Order of Eastern Star, past royal patron of Harmony Court and was past watchman for Mount Olivet White Shrine.

Survivors include his wife, Nellie; a son, Landon "Lanny" of Des Moines; a daughter, Linda Towers of Bondurant; a sister, Edna Carpenter of Rodgers, Ak; two brothers, Robert of Ankeny and Charles of Melford; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to East Gage Masonic Lodge or to his church.
