The Life of ROGER FAYE ORR
Roger F. "Bub" Orr, 50, of 5420 NW 55th St., Johnston, died of injuries he suffered in a heavy-equipment accident Saturday near Winterset. Services will be at 11:a.m. Thursday at First Federated Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Orr, a life-long Johnston resident, was the owner of Orr Drywall and Insulating Co. and was a member of the Home Builders Association and ABC Contractors.
Survivors include two daughters, Karlene Dacken of Des Moines and Jolene White of Polk City; a son, Roger Scott Orr of Des Moines; four sisters, Shirley Cornelison of Urbandale, Patricia Urich of Webster City; Cherie Pollock of Adel and Linda Olson of Des Moines; three brothers, Richard of Urbandale, Robert of Des Moines and Ronald of Hayward, CA; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Iles Grandview Park Funeral Home.
