The Life of JESSIE MAE HUNT
Services for Mrs. James W. Hunt, 79, of 4121 S Union St., who died of a stroke Monday at Iowa Methodist Hospital, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Hamilton-Lilly Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Hunt, a lifelong Des Moines resident, had been ill 2 1/2 years. She was a member of the First Church of the Open Bible and the Pocahontas Lodge.
Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Alice Moen of Vandalia, MT, and Mrs. Florence Simmer and Mrs. Dorice Larsen of Des Moines; three sons, Ronald R. and Vernon C. of Des Moines and Russell H. of Norwalk; a sister, Mrs. Maymie McClelland of Whittier, CA; 22 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
