The Life of HARRY WALTER GRANT
Services for Harry W. Grant, 66, of 1701 Pennsylvania Ave., who died of cancer Friday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
A native of Adel, Mr. Grant was a sanitarian for the Iowa State Department of Health before retiring in 1981. A former plumber, he also served as the state''s consultant to the International Conference of Building Officials. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Epworth United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a daughter, Marilynn Wadden of Des Moines; a son, Gary of Des Moines; a sister, Lois Butler of Laguna Hills, CA; a brother James of Evanston, IL; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call until service time at the funeral home.
