The Life of LEE BUD BEVER

Lee "Bud" Bever, 74, of Perry died of a heart attack Monday at home.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturay at Hastings Funeral Home in Perry.  Burial will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.

Mr. Bever was born in Dallas County and lived there most of his life, including the last 10 years in Perry.  Previously, he had lived in Woodward, Granger and Minburn.  He was an electrician at the Woodward State Hospital-School, an Army veteran and a member of the Masonic Lodge, American Legion and Old Fiddlers'' Association.

Survivors include a son, Jon of Bouton; three sisters, Esther Morse of Charles City, Leona Wenger of St. Ansgar and Beulah Hansen of Winterset; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call all day today and Friday at the funeral home, where the family will greet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday.
