The Life of KATHERN IRENE CURRAN
Kathern Irene Curran, 70, of Fleur Heights Care Center, 4911 SW 19th St., died of complications of diabetes Saturday at Hospice Kavanagh House. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Curran was born in Des Moines and had lived in the are all her life. She was a retired secretary with Des Moines Parks and Recreation Department.
Surviving are two daughters, Rilla Riccio of Des Moines and Cassie Rood of Lacona; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa or the American Diabetes Association.
