The Life of ANNA CAROLINE MAPLES MIKESELL
Caroline Mikesell, 67, of 3621 49th St. died of a heart ailment Thursday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Mikesell was a lifelong resident of Des Moines and was a retired bookkeeper for Ernst & Whinney. She was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons.
Survivors include her husband, Donald; a daughterCarolyn Mensinger of Bellevue, NE; three sons, Charles Maples of San Antonio, TX, and Joseph Maples and Charlie Mikesell of Des Moines; two brothers, Charles Riddle of Ringgold, LA; seven sisters, Katheryn Chapman, Geraldine Rhoades, Hazel Seiberling and Janet Spevack, all of Des Moines, Mary Vos of Mitchellville, Gloria Storey of Woodward and Gladys Luker of Mobile, AL; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
